အဓမၼိကသုတ္ (အဂၤလိပ္၊ ျမန္မာ )

    Monks, at a time the kings are unrighteous, the royal servicemen too become unrighteous. When the royal servicemen become unrighteous the Brahmin householders too become unrighteous. When the Brahmin householders become unrighteous those in the townships and provinces too become unrighteous. When those in the townships and provinces become unrighteous, the moon and sun move unevenly. When the moon and sun move unevenly the stars and the constellations move unevenly. Then the night and day dawn unevenly. When the night and day dawn unevenly, the fortnights and the months become uneven. When the fortnights and months become uneven, the seasons and the year become uneven. When the seasons and the year become uneven, winds blow unevenly and in the wrong direction. When winds blow unevenly and in the wrong direction deities become disturbed. When the deities become disturbed the sky does not bring proper rainfall. When there is no proper rainfall, the grains ripe unevenly. When humans eat the grains unevenly ripened, their life span gets shortened, and they lose their beauty and power and are struck by many ailments.
ရဟန္းတုိ႔ ဘုရင္မင္းတုိ႔ တရားမေစာင့္ေသာအခါ မွဴးမတ္တုိ႔သည္လည္း တရားမေစာင့္ကုန္၊ မွဴးမတ္တုိ႔ တရားမေစာင့္ေသာအခါ ပုဏၰားသူၾကြယ္တုိ႔လည္း တရားမေစာင့္ကုန္၊ ပုဏၰားသူၾကြယ္တုိ႔ တရားမေစာင့္ေသာအခါ နိဂုံး ဇနပုဒ္ေနသူတုိ႔လည္း တရားမေစာင့္ကုန္၊ နိဂုံး ဇနပုဒ္ေနသူတုိ႔တရားမေစာင့္ေသာအခါ လ ေနတုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္လွည့္လည္ကုန္၏၊ နကၡတ္တာရာ အေပါင္းတုိ႔ မညီမညြတ္လည့္လည္ေသာအခါ ညဥ့္ေန႔တုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္ျဖစ္ကုန္၏၊ ညဥ့္ေန႔တုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္ ျဖစ္ကုန္ေသာ္ လနွင့္နလခြဲတုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္ျဖစ္ကုန္၏၊ လနွင့္လခဲြတုိ႔ မညီမညြတ္ျဖစ္ေသာအခါ ဥတု နွစ္တုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္ျဖစ္ကုန္၏၊ ဥတု နွစ္တုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္ျဖစ္ကုန္ေသာ္ ေလတုိ႔သည္ မညီမညြတ္တုိက္ကုန္၏၊ လမ္းမွန္ မတုိက္ကုန္၊ ေလတုိ႔ မညီမညြတ္လမ္းမွန္ မတုိက္ေသာအခါ နတ္တို႔အမ်က္ထြက္ကုန္၏၊ နတ္တုိ႔အမ်က္ထြကန္ကုန္ေသာ္ မုိးေကာင္းစြာ မရြာသြန္း၊ မုိးေကာင္းစြာ မရြာသြန္းေသာ္ ေကာက္တုိ႔သည္ အမွည့္ မညီညြတ္ကုန္။ ရဟန္းတုိ႔ အမွည့္ မညီညြတ္ေသာ ေကာက္တုိ့ကုိစားသုံးသူတုိ႔သည္ အသက္တုိကုန္၏၊ အဆင္းမလွကုန္၊ အားနညး္ကုန္၏၊ အနာမ်ားကုန္၏၊။

When the Brahmin householders become righteous those in the townships and provinces become righteous. When those in the townships and provinces become righteous, the moon and sun move evenly.  When the moon and sun move evenly, stars and the constellations move evenly. When the stars and the constellations move evenly, then the night and day dawn evenly. When the night and day dawn evenly, the fortnights and the months become even. When the fortnights and months become even, the seasons and the year become even. When the seasons and the year become even, winds blow evenly in the right direction. When the deities are not disturbed, the sky brings proper rainfall.When the sky brings proper rainfall, the grains ripe evenly. When humans eat the grains evenly ripened, their life span gets lengthened, and they become beautiful and strong and have few ailments.
ရဟန္းတုိ႔ ဘုရင္မင္းတုိ႔ တရားေစာင့္ေသာအခါ မွဴးမတ္တုိ႔သည္လည္း တရားေစာင့္ကုန္၏၊ မွဴးမတ္တုိ႔ တရားေစာင့္ေသာအခါ ပုဏၰားသူၾကြယ္တုိ႔လည္း တရားေစာင့္ကုန္၏၊ ပုဏၰားသူၾကြယ္တုိ႔ တရားေစာင့္ေသာအါ နိဂုံး ဇနပုဒ္ေနသူတို႔လည္း တရားေစာင့္ကုန္၏၊ နိဂုံး ဇနပုဒ္ေနသူတုိ႔ တရားေစာင့္ေသာအခါ လ ေနတုိ႔သည္ ညီညြတ္စြာ လွည့္လည္ကုန္၏၊ လ ေနတုိ႔ ညီညြတ္စြာ လွည့္လည္ေသာအခါ နကၡတ္တာရာအေပါင္းတုိ႔သည္ ညီညြတ္စြာ လွည့္လည္ကုန္၏၊ လ ေနတုိ႔ ညီညြတ္စြာ လွည့္လည္ေသာ အခါ နကၡတ္တာရာအေပါင္းတုိ႔သည္ ညီညြတ္စြာ လွည့္လည္ကုန္၏၊ နကၡတ္တာရာ အေပါင္းတုိ႔ ညီညြတ္စြာ လွည့္လည္ကုန္ေသာ ညဥ့္ေန႔တုိ႔သည္လည္း ညီညြတ္စြာ ျဖစ္ကုန္။၊ ညဥ့္ေန႔တုိ့ ညီညြတ္စြာ ျဖစ္ကုန္ေသာ္ လနွင့္လခြဲတုိ႔သည္ ညီညြတ္စြာ ျဖစ္ကုန္၏၊ လနွင့္လခြဲတုိ႔ ညီညြတ္စြာ ျဖစ္ကုန္ေသာ္ ဥတု နွစ္တုိ႔လညး္ ညီညြတ္စြာ ျဖစ္ကုန္၏၊ ဥတု နွစ္တုိ႔ ညီညြတ္စြာျဖစ္ကုန္ေသာ္ ေလတုိ႔သည္ ညီညြတ္စြာတုိက္ကုန္၏၊ လမ္းမွန္ တုိက္ကုန္၏၊ ေလတုိ႔သည္ ညီညြတ္စြာ လမ္းမွန္တုိက္ကုန္ေသာ္ နတ္တို႔အမ်က္မထြက္ကုန္၊ နတ္တုိ႔ အမ်က္မထြက္ကုန္ေသာ္ မုိးသည္ ေကာင္းစြာ ရြာသြန္း၏၊ မုိးေကာင္းစြာရြာသြန္းေသာ္ ေကာက္တုိ႔သည္ အမွည့္ညီကုန္၏၊။ ရဟန္းတုိ႔ အမွည့္ညီေသာ ေကာက္တုိ႔ကုိ စားသုံးသူတုိ႔သည္ အသက္ရွည္ကုန္၏၊ အဆင္းလွ ကုန္၏၊ အားရွိကုန္၏၊ ေရာဂါနညး္ကုန္၏၊ ဟု (မိန္႔ေတာ္မူ၏။)
When cattle are crossing (a water way) if the leading bull goes crooked, all of them go crooked, as the leading one goes crooked. Even so among humans if the one considered the chief, practices unrighteousness, all the rest will follow suit. If the king is unrighteous, the whole country rests unhappily.
္(ျမစ္ကုိ) ကူးကုန္ေသာ ႏြားတုိ႔တြင္ ေရွ့ေဆာင္ႏြားလားသည္ ေကာက္က်စ္သြားခဲ့မူ၊ ေရွ့ေဆာင္ႏြားလား ေကာက္က်စ္ သြားသည္ရွိေသာ္ ေနာက္လုိက္ႏြား အားလုံးတုိ႔သည္ ေကာက္က်စ္လုိက္သြားကုန္၏။ ဤအတူသာလွ်င္ လူတုိ႔တြင္ အျမတ္ဆုံးဟု သမုတ္အပ္သူသည္ အကယ္၍ တရားမဟုတ္သည္ကုိ က်င့္အံ့၊ဤမွ တစ္ပါးေသာ သတၱ၀ါအေပါင္းသည္ အဘယ္ဆုိဖြယ္ရာ ရွိအံ့နည္း၊ မင္းတရားမေစာင့္သည္ ျဖစ္အံ့၊ တစ္နုိင္ငံလုံးဆင္းရဲရ၏။

(ျမစ္ကုိ) ကူးကုန္ေသာ ႏြားတုိ႔တြင္ ေရွ့ေဆာင္ႏြားလားသည္ ေျဖာင့္ေျဖာင့္သြားခဲ့မူ၊ ေရွ့ေဆာင္ႏြားလား ေျဖာင့္ေျဖာင့္သြားသည္ရွိေသာ္ ေနာက္လုိက္ႏြားအားလုံးတုိ႔သည္ ေျဖာင့္ေျဖာင့္ပင္ လုိက္သြားကုန္၏။ ဤအတူသာလွ်င္ လူတုိ႔တြင္ အျမတ္ဆုံးဟု သမုတ္အပ္သူသည္ အကယ္၍တရားကုိ က်င့္အံ့၊ဤမွ တစ္ပါးေသာ သတၱ၀ါအေပါင္းသည္ အဘယ္ဆုိဖြယ္ရာ ရွိအံ့နည္း၊ မင္း တရားေစာင့္အံ့၊ တစ္နုိင္ငံလုံး ခ်မ္းသာ ရေလသတည္း။
